COLLECTION OF GENERAL INFORMATION WHEN VISITING OUR WEBSITE

TYPE AND PURPOSE OF PROCESSING

When you access our website, i.e. without registering or otherwise transmitting any information, we collect some information of a general nature. This information (server log files) includes, for instance, the type of browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your Internet service provider, your IP address and similar information.
This information is processed for the following purposes in particular:

  • Ensuring a problem-free use of our website

The processing takes place in accordance with point (f) of Art. 6(1) of the GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website.

The recipients of the data are any technical service providers entrusted with operating and maintaining our website as commissioned data processors.

RETENTION PERIOD:

The data will be erased as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected. For the data collected for the provision of the website, this is generally the case when the session ends.
In the case of data saved in log files, this is the case after 14 days at the latest. It is possible that the data will be retained beyond this period. In such a case, the IP address of the user will be anonymised, so that it will not be possible to allocate it to the accessing client.

The processing of the data entered in the contact form is done on the basis of a legitimate interest (point (f) of Art. 6(1) of the GDPR).
The purpose of providing the contact form is to give you an easy and uncomplicated way of contacting us. The data you enter will be saved for the purpose of processing your inquiry and any follow-up questions.
If you contact us for the purpose of requesting a quote, then the processing of the data entered in the contact form shall be done in order to carry out measures prior to entering into a contract (point (b) of Art. 6(1) of the GDPR).

RECIPIENTS:

Recipients of the data may be commissioned data processors.

RETENTION PERIOD:

The data will be erased 6 months after processing at the latest.
If a contractual relationship is established as a result, we are obliged to comply with the retention period prescribed by the German Commercial Code (HGB) and will erase your data only after these periods shall lapse.

MANDATORY OR REQUIRED PROVISION OF DATA:

The provision of your personal data is voluntary. However, we can only process your inquiry if you provide us with your name, email address and the reason for contacting us.
